How do you create an automatic backup for database designed in oracle?

i built a database using oracle. Now my client wants to backup the database once every month. How do i dot it ? Where do i find the DVD ?

1. Hi, We need a little more info before we can answer definitively. What version of oracle is being used? If you are on 10g, and if you have enterprise manager running, you can use it to schedule backups (under the "maintenance tab" -- but you will need to supply a backup location. There are many oracle specific sites out there where you can search for backup scripts and the like if: the comp.databases.oracle newsgroup asktom.oracle.com and even metalink.oracle.com if you have oracle support. hth.
