Automatic Backup?

Does anyone know of a free backup program that would automatically copy file/folders to a backup folder on a hardrive? My main problem is that one of the files I want to back up has to stay open. It is a text file that is edited in microsoft Excell, and is saved as a text file upon each edit. I've tried everyday auto backup and it will copy everything but that one file. Any help appreciated. Will be watching this question closely, so I'll be glad to give clarification when needed. Thanks in advance!

1. Unfortunatelly, i don't know any free one. But Acronis True Image can do that. It's just released and is quite cheap (~45$). Besides it's very easy in use software
2. try acronis true image version 7, you can get it for free here: http://www.acronis.com/mag/vnu-ati7 all you need is to register and then download full version of true image.
3. Yeah... True Image is very good choice. You can just schedule the time and the type of backup and forget about it, True Image will execute its backup tasks in precise and un-annoying manner.
