Is there an option for Picasa 3 that enables an automatic backup of a picture when I complete editing?
I noticed that when I complete editing and save my picture, it changes the picture without backing up the original. The only way I know to achieve my objective is to copy the original picture as a backup, then use picasa to edit the copy.

- When you save changes in Picasa it makes a copy of the original file and saves it in a separate folder in the original folder. This folder is named "Originals" in most versions of Picasa. The folder is a hidden folder and does not get scanned or displayed by Picasa itself. The edited image then retains the original filename as a "new" original. You can read all about what happens, including how to undo the save, in the Picasa Help System. I recommend you read it and decide if you need to save your changes. Picasa retains all the editing information in a database automatically so saving is not necessary. It is a good idea to backup Picasa regularly.
