What are some good free backup software of my PC? I have a lot of data that i dont want to lose and I have an external hard drive so i was wondering if any of you guys (or girls) know some good FREE software that i can download. thanks in advance!!

Should every backup software be able to backup hard drive/computer so it can be restored? Or only a few types? I am just getting confused about backing up files and then backing up so that the computer can be restored and backing up so that there is an "image"????? What backup software do you use to BURN backup CDs? Years ago, I used the ONE STEP Backup with my old Zip Drive. Once I configured it, it was ONE CLICK and it made an awesome backup and archive set.
